Q: Yes, there are castable resins that will work with it.
2:Do you need to have a UV Lamp to cure the finished product after printing?
Q:I just leave it outside for a few hours in the sun. If you don't have good direct sunlight, then yes.
3:This machine works with these software input formats: .stl, .obj, .amf ?
Q: Works with .stl but I have never used .amf and I usually convert to .stl when I check the mesh when using .obj.
4:Is this printer dlp or lcd?
Q: Its a LCD printer.
5:Does this come with a sample bottle of resin?
Q:Yes. Mine came with transparent resin.
6:What is the melting temperature of a printed piece?
Q: It is unable to melt. At 100 degrees, the print cracked. Carbonization at 300 degrees.
7:Is it possible to print directly on the build platform and use supports?
Q: Yes, you can do that.
8:What is the maximum dinensions of an object that can be printed? Circumfrence and height.
Q: it's roughly a 120*65*165(mm) build volume.
9:Would this unit work well for making minatures for rpgs like dungeon and dragons?
Q:Yes, it will. I primarily bought mine for making monsters for roleplaying games (such as d&d),
but it can make humanoids, animals, inanimate objects, basically whatever you can find a design for within the size parameters [you will just need to find or create the files for the figures themselves, but the detail is great].
